This is a look that I wore on Saturday to my youngest son's basketball game. Usually during the week I don't wear a lot of colorful eyeshadows because of work but on the weekend I like to have fun. I finally opened my Vice 2 palette by Urban Decay and used the color "Damaged" on my lid. I paired it with a nude lip using Mac's Chestnut lipliner with Boy Bait lipgloss.

Purple lipstick and lipglosses are one of my favorite lipstick colors to wear year round. I love the different varieties of purples from lilac to dark purple. I've shared some of my favorite looks wearing purple lips. What is your favorite lipstick color to wear year round?

It's summertime and my hair and this heat doesn't mix well together. Instead if wearing my hair curly like I did last year I decided to get it braided. The braids will allow me to work out more than I was doing because I would sweat my hair out. I'm always going on vacation to Miami and the Bahamas so I didn't want to worry about styling my hair. Here are some pics of my braids and the different ways that I've styled them so far.

Here are three looks that wore using the Rihanna lipsticks from MAC. The first look is Ri Ri Woo, it's a retro matte so it's drying and long lasting. I actually thought that it would look like Ruby Woo but it has more blue in it. I reach for this morning than Ruby Woo or Nars Dragongirl now.

I recently purchased four lipsticks from Coloured Raine Cosmetics. I found out about this brand from Instagram, alot of popular makeup artists were wearing them. The colors looked so pretty that I was curious to see how they looked in person. So, I ordered X-Pose, Arabian Nights, Boudoir and Bajan Price.
The cost of each lipstick is $12.99 which is still cheaper than MAC.
Pros: Long wearing, very pigmented and matte finish.
Cons: Leaves a stain but that could be good or bad depending on your preference.
Here's the website if you want to try them for yourself Coloured Raine Cosmetics .

Yesterday I finally gave in and purchased the GlamGlow Tingling and Exfoliating Mask from Sephora. Ive been wanting to try it out for about a month now but didnt want to pay the $69 for it. But after reading all of the great reviews, I decided that it was time to see for myself. Last night I used the mask for the first time and I loved the results. You supposed to apply the mask to clean dry skin and let it stay on for ten minutes. Before the ten minutes was up ny face was so tight that I could barely talk. I would be careful with this product if you have sensitive skin.I didnt mind because skincare is really important to me because I will be turning 40 soon and Im a consistent makeup wearer. Once the mask dried I rinsed it off while I was in the shower. It turned in to a exfoliating scrub and washed over easily. Once I dried my face off I was very impressed with the results,my skin felt refreshed and my pores in my nose were less visible. This will become apart of my weekly skincare regimen. Remember you skin should look good with or without makeup.
